Firstly, we do not always have Frenchie puppies for sale. Our goal is to provide each litter and mama with individualized attention and care to produce the best puppies, so we may have fewer litters as a result.
Secondly, each of our ladies have an average of three litters of puppies or less. Since French Bulldogs normally require a cesarean section to deliver the puppies, it is not ethical nor fair to our ladies to breed them more than that. Their health and well-being is our first concern. Our girls will never be breeding machines.
Thirdly, French Bulldogs do not have large litters. The average litter size that we have experienced is 5 puppies. Because we breed for our quality standards, we keep puppies back on occasion for our program that we feel are superior in quality, structure and color. Obviously this reduces the number of puppies that we will offer to new families.
Lastly, sometimes breedings do not take or puppies pass away despite our best efforts. This is the hardest part about being a Frenchie breeder. We carefully plan and do everything in our power to have a successful breeding and whelping every time. Unfortunately, these disappointing aspects are all part of what we do.

Our Waitlist for Frenchie Puppies for Sale
At RickJenn Frenchies, we utilize a paid waitlist to find the perfect home for all of our French Bulldog puppies for sale. Our experience is that it is best for both us as the seller, and you as the buyer.
Joining our waitlist is not required, but it will give you the best chance at getting exactly what you want while reducing the amount of time that you have to wait for your Frenchie puppy.
This helps us determine who is willing to wait for a quality French Bulldog puppy, and we want to feel secure knowing that you are a serious buyer who will be able to provide a loving home for one of our puppies.
We ask for a $500 deposit to be added to the waitlist and this is applied to the purchase price of your puppy. Once we receive your deposit, your place on the list is set and the puppy that you desire is secured for you from the next available litter.
This allows us to be fair to each interested buyer. If we cannot place a puppy for you or if you change your mind before your puppy is selected, then we are happy to refund your deposit to you.
We understand that placing a deposit before your puppy is born or is old enough to come home can be a little scary due to all of the scammers who claim to have French Bulldog puppies for sale. Because of this, we have taken the extra steps to become certified as a Scam Free breeder through Tell Tail. Simply scan to verify us! We are also willing to talk on the phone, video chat and/or message photos and information, and provide references upon request.
Additionally, once your puppy is born we maintain communication and involve you in the puppy’s development throughout his/her first 60 days of life. Our Planned and Completed Breedings
We are excited to announce that our breeding of our beautiful dame GiGi and Crooked Pines Rocky has been confirmed! Puppies should arrive around January 13, 2025, and will be ready to go to new homes in March 2025. Both parents are healthy and have been genetically and OFA tested. Both dogs have GOOD hips, normal heart, normal patellas and fewer spine anomalies than the average tested French Bulldog. Rocky has also been rated to have normal eyes and a normal trachea. Both dogs are small and compact, weighing 22/23 lbs. Together these two can produce a rainbow of colors!
We have also confirmed a surprise breeding! Our newest girl, Sweets, came into heat earlier than expected and she has been bred to our very own stud, Holmes. Holmes has been extensively health tested. His details can be found on his bio page HERE. Sweets is a petite French Bulldog, weighing less than 20 lbs., and is very healthy and athletic. We hope to produce smaller French Bulldog puppies with more muscle and bone like Holmes. Sweets is due on February 10, 2025!
Our next planned breeding will be with Punkin when she has her next heat. This will be her 3rd and final litter before retiring! We expect that to happen around March 2025.
We haven’t secured her potential suitor yet, but we do have her gentleman picked out. If all goes according to plan, we will be pairing her with a gorgeous solid cocoa stud that is fully health tested with normal OFA results and EXCELLENT hips! This will be an amazing litter of quality puppies that we anticipate will be reserved quickly. We do plan to retain a puppy (or two) from this litter to carry on Punkin’s legacy.

We’ve been blessed to have puppies reserved by families on our waitlist before they are born or shortly after birth so the earlier you join, the better.

We have become more acutely aware of the importance of health testing our parent dogs beyond a DNA swab. We are now choosing OFA health tested studs for our breedings as well. These extra measures help us to make better breeding decisions for the health of our puppies, but they have also increased our costs considerably. We desire to continue to offer everything that we currently do, but we must also be able to maintain our program financially, so our puppies are not cheap.
