Modernbullz Sherlock Holmes
We are so excited to introduce our only imported stud at RickJenn Frenchies! Holmes was bred by Modernbullz in the United Kingdom and arrived in the United States in 2022. He is sired by Kenxtwen Woodie Laddie (call name Randy) and his grand sire is the infamous Pabilo Pabilito Escobar (call name Pablito). Pablito is a Turbo Diesel son, and has several offspring here in the US. However, they do not have Randy’s lines, which include some amazing dogs. We believe that Holmes is the only stud in the USA with his pedigree who is also OFA health tested.
Holmes has been thoroughly health tested. Producing healthy puppies is our top priority, so testing our breeding dogs is imperative. No dog is perfect so having health test results helps us make ethical breeding decisions to improve the health of the breed. We have completed Holmes’ OFA screenings and we also have his results for genetic diseases that affect the French Bulldog. Holmes is negative for Brucellosis and will be tested at least annually while standing at stud. Holmes has shown no signs of allergies and has a soft, short coat. He has a very laid back temperament and loves to be near his favorite human.
Proof of all health testing results are available upon request. Holmes is OFA normal for heart, patellas and elbows. He has GOOD hips and he has an average number of anomalies in the spine for the French Bulldog. Holmes’ OFA results can be viewed online here. In order for Holmes to be used for outside stud services, we require that potential females be genetically tested, at a minimum, for the standard 4-panel for French Bulldogs.
