Reverence for the King (Rev)

We are so proud to introduce our first stud at RickJenn Frenchies! Rev was born here which makes him extra special in our eyes. His dam was also produced here, which is Sadie. His sire, Ch Guinness the Stout, was an amazing example of the breed. Unfortunately, he has passed away. It is important to us to keep his lineage alive.

Rev has been thoroughly health tested. Producing healthy puppies is our top priority, so testing our breeding dogs is imperative. No dog is perfect so having health test results helps us make ethical breeding decisions to improve the health of the breed. We have completed Rev’s OFA screenings and we also have his results for genetic diseases that affect the French Bulldog. Rev is negative for Brucellosis and will be tested at least annually while standing at stud. Rev has shown no signs of allergies or breathing issues and has a very laid back temperament.

Proof of all health testing results are available upon request. Rev is OFA normal for heart, patellas and elbows. He has GOOD hips and only 2 thoracic anomalies in the spine, which is better than average for the French Bulldog. Rev’s OFA results can be viewed online here. He is genetically 5-panel clear and carries one copy of Cystinuria Type 3 (Variant 1 & 2). Rev’s coat color profile is atat dd Eme Ii and carries one copy of the As (saddle tan) gene.

In order for Rev to be used for outside stud services, we require that potential females be genetically tested, at a minimum, for the standard 4-panel plus Cystinuria 3 French Bulldog type variant.
